- When you get a late fee (YuK!) - call your credit card company and ask to get it waived. Most credit card company have a (Can waive up to X fees) listed on accounts. Some companies have a lifetime limit and some generate the limit yearly. Most consumers don't bother calling thinking that there isn't anything that can be done. Save, Save, Save Money!
